In order to run correctly, the Electronic Dictionary application software requires, as a pre-requisite, the Borland Database Engine (BDE).

Before executing an Electronic Dictionary application, please check to make sure that you have previously installed the BdeSup.exe application. This application prepares the computer environment by installing the BDE support.

To install one of the applications below, unzip the downloaded files in a folder on your hard disc and run setup.exe

System requirements: Windows 95/98 or NT; at least 50 Mb of free space on disk.

If, during the execution of one Electronic Dictionary application, some BDE configuration problems occur, try to uninstall the current BdeSup.exe application, and re-install the BdeSup.exe application.

To uninstall the BdeSup.exe application use the Windows utility "Add/Remove Programs" within "Control Panel" (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel).

To uninstall an Electronic Dictionary application use the Windows utility "Add/Remove Programs" within "Control Panel" (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel), looking for the name of the application you may want to uninstall. (i. e. Study Titles Dictionary, Industry Sectors Dictionary, Occupational Titles Dictionary, Organisational Units Dictionary)
